Joshua Elkin is a multidisciplinary visual artist with sixteen years of experience in digital design, print, point of sale, painting, illustration, screen-printing and animation.

Josh's design education started at Rhode Island School of Design in 1994 followed by a graphic design degree from Dawson College in Montreal in 1997. His first job involved coming up with monthly visual concepts and art for Levis' store windows across Canada.

Before moving from Montreal to the US for good he completed a BFA at Concordia University in Art History, Painting and Electronic Art.

Moving to New York City, Joshua free-lanced as a hybrid art director & flash animator at various traditional and digital agencies. His work includes creative solutions for pharmaceutical companies and architecture firms, as well as Bloomberg, Julio and Gallo, Sony and Victoria's Secret.

He is a hands-on leader, in demand for his design confidence, fresh concepts and clear typography.

Joshua eventually gravitated to California, where he has worked for TakePart, The Hyve (coming soon) and iCrossing as an associate creative director where he focused on digital campaigns for The Cosmopolitan Hotel of Las Vegas and automotive clients.

An advocate for responsive web design, he has been the creative lead for Toyota Racing and Mazda Mexico during this shift.

Josh proudly commutes from the beach by bike on a daily basis. He views his job as the perfect Yang to the freestyle arts of DJing, skateboarding, and abstract painting that he is so passionate about.
