Emily Carr University's The Show 2013 app and site needed to streamline the submission process, make curation easy, and deliver content in beautiful layouts accessible through desktops, tablets, and phones.
Steamclock designed and developed the native iPad app, the responsive web apps for browsing and curating content, and the APIs that tie it all together. Using Node.js, HTML5, and Objective-C, we created a great experience across various devices.
We did the icon design for Party Monster's iOS 7 redesign. Party Monster's icon for iOS 6 was a richly detailed render, but for iOS 7 we took it down to the simplest forms and lines.
Part of the responsive site design we designed and deployed in 2013. We used flexible layout to ensure the site displays well on a variety of devices.
Three of the many iPhone apps we have designed and developed: Traveling Tailor, Party Monster, and Map of the Internet. Two of these are also available for iPad, and one for Android.
We designed and developed the Peer 1 Map of the Internet using native iOS and Android tools. In this app you can explore the past and future of the internet in 3D on iPhones, iPads, Android phones, and Android tablets. The app was featured by CNN, Popular Science, and Fast Company, leading to more than 100,000 downloads.
