SZL.it is a new artificial intelligence recommendation engine for news articles and interests. Allies Labs was hired to construct the user interface on top of an existing Rails application. We upgraded the Ruby and Rails versions to the most current available, and implemented the interface using a combination of Rails, jQuery, HTML5 and CSS.
