BIS' design for the SleepTrain homepage.
BIS worked with Sleep Train to give them everything from a new look and navigation, to easily updateable content. Concentrating on a sophisticated design for a discerning customer, BIS began with an original home page design that complemented the existing Sleep Train logo, and strategically mixed design elements with 'lifestyle' photos that customers can easily identify with. The result is a cool palette of layered blues, a combination of modern and classic fonts, and a clean, simple grid structure that highlights the narrative photo stories on each page. Clean simplicity is also applied to the organization and navigation of the website, with easily accessible side- and top-bar navigation.
BIS added a Content Management System (CMS) to the website that allows Sleep Train to add and update their own content, such as product promotions, community events, and important customer service information. The new design supports online features, including a sleep quiz, mattress wizard, and online job application.
