Alcatel-Lucent had some compelling technologies for the hospitality industry and an exciting vision for how those technologies could be complemented by business partners to bring innovative new solutions to the market.
To help tell this story we created a 3D virtual hotel that we deployed both as an Adobe AIR desktop application for sales reps to conduct "art of the possible" discussions with key customers, and also on the web as an immersive guided tour through the hotel of the future.
The Hotel Experience is used by hundreds of internal and business partner sales reps in the field, it has generated new business opportunities, and it has served as a catalyst for measurable increases in the awareness of Alcatel-Lucent solutions throughout the hospitality industry.
